Upcoming Dutch artist Yves has released his EP "Sadderdays". The artist has reached over 500,000 streams within the first month of release on Spotify alone. Recent's own Valentino Angela & Mario Gonsalves were in charge of the branding & strategy for this project.

Branding
The branding included a thorough research behind the meaning of the EP and the personality and beliefs of Yves. The songs mainly cover topics around relationships and insecurities and motivated the artwork around the entire project. The theme for the branding & design are imperfect, insecure and confrontation. The design was well received amongst the fans and created a visual identity for all future projects of Yves.

Strategy
In order to maximise the effectiveness of the branding & design and to make sure we reach optimal numbers & targets we needed to strategise the way we bring content to the fans. For this we teamed up with the record label to organise a schedule for content and messaging in order to increase interaction with the artist and his music. We also focused on long term goals such as Spotify & Socials following as well as monthly listeners growth in order to create a sustainable platform for the artist for future releases.
